Born in Nara, Japan in 1973, Kenji Uranishi studied ceramics at the Nara College of Fine Arts graduating in 1996. In October 2004, Kenji moved to Australia and has since exhibited widely, including solo exhibitions in Brisbane & Sydney. Kenji draws inspiration from the surrounding built and social environment. He is interested in and influenced by architecture and nature, and how people interact with both.
