“Even though the finished forms, the materials I choose and the techniques I employ to make my jewellery vary enormously, there are a few themes that carry through. The inescapable compulsion to use techniques and processes that are repetitive and physically demanding. The desire to make something beautiful from nothing. I am consistently drawn to exploring experiences and memories through my designs, creating something that breathes restoration, beauty and new life into those precious moments.” KL 2006
