Emma Davies has a keen eye for recycling. She makes use of industrial cable ties and polypropylene to create extraordanarily light, sculptural forms. Emma's designs have evolved from an interest in weaving, commencing with the plastic netting that otherwise holds onions and oranges. From this comes bowls, bottle forms and vessels. The vessels work beautifully in groups, particularly when there is a play on light through the woven texture. Wall hangings and mats are to follow as Davies extends her unique design impulses.
