The sea introduces us to a vast array of knowledge and wonders and for most of my creative life, my work has been directyle inspired by it's elemental nature and what floats on top or what moves through it. These works are constructed from defunct boats and often take on a narrative from the environment from which they came. Taking the remnants of old vessels which once travelled the vast space of water in Port Philip Bay I once again gave a new life or soul to these objects." Robert Delves
