Monday night saw Pomme combine two of our passions, social drinking and beautiful things, as Peninsula women turned out for a showcase of works from talented designers Beverly Armstrong, from Luna Gallery, and Katelyn Aslett, from Katelyn Aslett Felt Designs at our home-away-from-home Brass Razu.
Luna Gallery showed us why they are the first and last word in Australian woollen finery. Each season Beverly comes up with stylish, understated designs and a carefully selected palette to see us through our autumn and winter.
We were also treated to the vibrantly coloured, asymmetrical, ruffled collared origami vests, skirts and waistcoats from Katelyn Aslett. Visting us from Queeensland, her work is almost exclusively sold overseas, so we feel privileged to have these unique garments at Pomme.
Items from both designers will be featured permanently at Pomme; they do sell quickly as the ranges are kept small.
Thanks to lovely Lyndall at Brass Razu and to all those who made the evening lots of fun. For all those who missed out, another evening is planned for spring. Dates have yet to be finalized.
